Mohammad Salahuddin has been appointed as the senior assistant coach of the national men's cricket team.

Faruque Ahmed, BCB president, believes Salahuddin's inclusion will pave the way for other local coaches to come into the system.

Salahuddin's Background

  • Coaching career spanning two decades
  • Previously served as Assistant Coach and Fielding Coach for the National Team (2006-2010)
  • Worked as specialist coach at the BCB National Cricket Academy (2010-2011)
  • Appointed Head Coach of Singapore (2014)
  • Led Singapore team to ICC World Cricket League Division 4

  • Holds ACC-Cricket Australia Level 3 accreditation
  • Won multiple Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League titles

Next T20I Appearance

Salahuddin is expected to travel with the Bangladesh team to West Indies on November 10.
