Tamim Iqbal Set to Return to Competitive Cricket with NCL T20

=============================================================

Tamim Iqbal, Bangladesh opener, will return to competitive cricket with the NCL T20 tournament, scheduled from December 11 to 23.

Tamim last played competitive cricket in the Dhaka Premier League in May this year and has been practicing at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Whether Tamim will return to international cricket or not remains uncertain, after he recently hinted at the possibility.

Hannan Sarkar, national selection panel member, confirmed Tamim's interest to play in the NCL T20, with the possibility of playing for Chattogram Division.

Tamim will have to undergo a fitness test to participate in the tournament, following the national cricket league's criteria.

The NCL T20 will feature eight divisional teams, taking part in the first-class tournament of the country.

Many believe Tamim is preparing for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League through participating in the NCL T20.
