Sri Lanka Take Series 2-0 Against New Zealand

Sri Lanka have won their three-match One-Day International series against New Zealand 2-0 after the final match was called off due to rain at the Pallekele International Stadium.

New Zealand's Brief Innings

New Zealand batted first after winning the toss and scored 112/1 in a rain-curtailed match. Tim Robinson was the first to fall, dismissed in the fourth over for a brief spree of boundary hits against Dilshan Madhushanka.

Unbeaten Partnership

Will Young and Henry Nicholls shared an unbeaten 88-run partnership, with Young scoring his eighth ODI fifty just before rain interrupted play. Young top-scored with 56* and Nicholls contributed 46*.
