Bangladesh Men's Team Batting Coach Change for West Indies Tour

Mohammad Salahuddin to Oversee Batting Department

Bangladesh men's team will have a new face overseeing the batting department during their tour of West Indies. Mohammad Salahuddin, the newly appointed senior assistant coach, will take charge of the batting department in the Caribbean.

Reason for Change

The decision to appoint Salahuddin comes after the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) changed its stance on involving local coaches. The board's new president, Faruque Ahmed, has made this change, appointing Salahuddin as the senior assistant coach of the men's team.

David Hemp's Role

David Hemp, who was the batting coach of the national team, will not be part of the team in the West Indies tour. He is expected to return as the High Performance head coach again.

New Appointment

Bangladesh have also appointed India's Akshay Hiremath as the performance analyst for the tour of West Indies. He replaces Mohsin Sheikh.
