Wiaan Mulder out of remainder of Sri Lanka Tests

South Africa will be without Wiaan Mulder for the remainder of the ongoing first Test against Sri Lanka in Durban as well as the next fixture in Gqeberha after the allrounder suffered a fractured right middle finger.

Cricket South Africa has named batter Matthew Breetzke as Mulder's replacement for the second Test – starting from December 5.

Mulder sustained the injury after being hit on the hand by a 140kmph Lahiru Kumara delivery while batting on Day 2 in the first Test in Durban. Mulder was in considerable pain and took some time before batting again. But he faced just two more deliveries before walking off the field in pain.
