Shaheen Afridi to Make Maiden BPL Appearance for Fortune Barishal

Pakistan's premier fast bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi, is set to make his first appearance in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), joining reigning champions Fortune Barishal. The 11th edition of the BPL is set to begin on December 30, with Fortune Barishal facing newcomers Durbar Rajshahi at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

Fortune Barishal's official statement confirms Shaheen's participation:

Pakistani left arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will play for Fortune Barishal in the upcoming BPL.

The 24-year-old has been signed directly by the franchise and will be available for the first five games, as the Pakistan Cricket Board has granted him a no-objection certificate until January 15.
