Baartman ruled out of final ODI against Pakistan with knee injury

South Africa fast-bowler Ottneil Baartman will miss the third ODI against Pakistan due to a right knee injury. Baartman, who played in the first ODI and picked up two wickets, felt discomfort during warm-ups for the second game and was replaced by all-rounder Corbin Bosch.

The fast bowler will return home for further assessments. This news comes a day after left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj was also ruled out of the ODI series due to a left abductor strain. Baartman's next assignment will be in the SAT20 for Sunrisers Eastern Cape.

Pakistan leads the ODI series 2-0 after comprehensive wins in Cape Town and Paarl.
