Najmul Hossain (c), Tanzid Hasan, Soumya Sarkar, Parvez Hossain Emon, Mushfiqur Rahim, Tawhid Hridoy, Mahmudullah, Mehidy Hasan, Jaker Ali, Rishad Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Nahid Rana, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman

Litton Das has been excluded from the squad due to poor form. Najmul Hossain returns as captain after recovering from an injury. Mushfiqur Rahim and Tawhid Hridoy also make a comeback after injury recovery.

Shakib al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal will not be part of the squad. Shakib failed a bowling reassessment test and Tamim retired from international cricket.

The squad consists of a balanced pace attack with young speedsters and experienced bowlers. The spin attack will be led by Rishad Hossain, Mehidy and Nasum Ahmed. The batting department is bolstered by the returning Najmul and Mushfiqur Rahim along with veterans Mahmudullah and Soumya Sarkar.

Bangladesh is grouped with India, New Zealand and Pakistan in Group A of the Champions Trophy. They will play their first game against India in Dubai on February 20.

Note: Jaker Ali Anik will be donning the keeping gloves.
