There are two versions regarding the changes to the Season 18 schedule. The BCCI initially announced the tournament would run from March 14 to May 25, but it is now suggested that these dates were merely indicative of the window reserved for the season and not the actual schedule.

• Eden Gardens, home of the Kolkata Knight Riders, will host both the opener and the final.
• The SunRisers Hyderabad will host two playoff games.

BCCI Appointments

The BCCI has elected a full-term secretary, Devjit Saikia, and treasurer, Prabhtej Singh Bhatia, during the Special General Meeting held in Mumbai on January 12.
