Nitish Reddy has been ruled out of India's squad from the ongoing T20I series against England. The all-rounder suffered a side strain injury in the practice session in Chennai on Friday. He will head to the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru for further management.

Rinku Singh, who sustained a lower back spasm while fielding in the first T20I of the series, has been ruled out of the second and third T20Is. The Indian selectors have included the all-round duo of Shivam Dube and Ramandeep Singh in the squad for the remainder of the series.

While Ramandeep was present in India's T20I for their most recent assignment in South Africa, Dube hasn't played for the national team since August 2024. He missed the home series against Bangladesh with a back injury but has recovered post that to feature in domestic cricket for Mumbai. India currently lead the T20I series 1-0.

India's updated squad for the T20I series:
Suryakumar Yadav (C), Axar Patel (VC), Sanju Samson (WK), Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammad Shami, Varun Chakaravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Dhruv Jurel (WK), Shivam Dube, Ramandeep Singh.
