Sachin Tendulkar Likely to Get CK Nayudu Award

Sachin Tendulkar is likely to be honoured at the annual awards night of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai on Saturday. The maestro is clearly in line for the highest BCCI award, although the BCCI has not officially confirmed the development.

Tendulkar has represented India in 664 international games, scoring over 34 thousand runs with 100 international centuries. He is a World Cup winner and recipient of the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award in the country.

Other notable winners of the CK Nayudu Award include Lala Amarnath, Syed Mushtaq Ali, and Kapil Dev. The last recipient was Ravi Shastri in 2023.

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is also being honoured for the best association in domestic cricket, having won the Ranji Trophy for the 42nd time last year.
