UP Warriorz rope in Chinelle Henry

The UP Warriorz have signed West Indies all-rounder Chinelle Henry as a replacement for captain Alyssa Healy, who has decided to skip the Women's Premier League (WPL) to rest and prepare for the ICC Women's ODI World Cup in India later this year.

Henry has represented the West Indies in 62 WT20Is, scoring 473 runs at a strike rate of 91.13 and taking 22 wickets. In the recent T20I series between India and the West Indies, she picked up three wickets and scored 50 runs in three matches. Henry will join the UP Warriorz for INR 30 Lakhs, but the team is yet to announce its new captain.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru bring in Garth and Graham

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have signed Australians Kim Garth and Heather Graham for the upcoming WPL season, replacing Sophie Devine and Kate Cross, who have both opted out due to personal reasons.

Devine, a key top-order batter for RCB, has taken an indefinite break from domestic cricket and will not participate in this year's WPL. Garth, a fast-bowler who previously played for Ireland, has featured in 59 T20Is, scoring 764 runs and taking 49 wickets. She has also played for the Gujarat Giants in previous WPL editions.

Graham, an all-rounder, has played in only five T20Is with eight wickets. However, she took 13 wickets in 11 games in the 2022 Women's Big Bash League. Both Garth and Graham will join RCB for INR 30 Lakhs.
