Mehidy Hasan Miraz named Bangladesh vice-captain for Champions Trophy 2025

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced Mehidy Hasan Miraz as the team's vice-captain for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Bangladesh will depart for Dubai on January 13 to prepare for their opening game against India on February 20.

Mehidy, the 27-year-old all-rounder, has played 103 ODIs for Bangladesh and recently captained the team in the West Indies.

The BCB also announced that pacers Hasan Mahmud and Khaled Ahmed will accompany the squad to Dubai for training.
