Sneh Rana replaces injured Shreyanka Patil at RCB

Injury woes for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) deepen as Shreyanka Patil is ruled out of the third season of the Women's Premier League (WPL). Patil, who was named in RCB's squad, failed to recover from her shin injury. All-rounder Sneh Rana has been roped in as her replacement.

Patil was a crucial player in RCB's title-winning campaign of 2024, taking the Purple Cap with 13 wickets in eight games. She joins Asha Sobhana, Sophie Molineux, Kate Cross, and Sophie Devine on the injury list.

Rana has played 12 games across two seasons of the WPL for Gujarat Giants, captaining them in two matches when Beth Mooney was injured. Despite going unsold in the auction ahead of this season, Rana has now found a home at the holders.
