Kerala had a shaky start, losing two wickets in the first three overs. However, Aditya Sarwate's half-century and a 93-run partnership with Ahammed Imran helped Kerala surpass the 100-run mark. Yash Thakur dismissed Imran towards the end of the day, leaving Kerala at 131/3.

Earlier, Vidarbha resumed their innings at 254/4 and added quick runs before Kerala struck back. Centurion Danish Malewar was the first to fall, followed by Yash Thakur and Yash Rathod. Late partnerships between Akshay Karnewar and Akshay Wadkar, and Nachiket Bhute and MD Nidheesh added valuable runs for Vidarbha. Nidheesh ended Bhute's resistance, finishing with figures of 3-61. Apple Tom also picked up three wickets, conceding 102 runs.
