CWAB Elections to be Held Soon

The Cricket Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) is gearing up for elections in the coming days.

A meeting was held recently to form a four-member committee to oversee the electoral process. The committee includes:

  • Selim Shahed (Convenor)
  • Habibul Bashar (Former National Star)
  • Hannan Sarkar
  • Nurul Hasan

CWAB's general secretary, Debabrata Paul, will guide the members through the association's constitution.

Minhajul Abedin, a former national skipper present at the meeting, stated:
"An election will take place in CWAB soon, and the committee will outline the next steps. We will also hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) before the election."

The last AGM in May 2023 saw no challenges to the current leadership, allowing Naimur Rahman (President) and Debabrata Paul (General Secretary) to retain their positions.

This is the cleaned-up version, focusing on key details and removing unnecessary fluff.
