Bangladesh to host Zimbabwe for two Tests in April

Zimbabwe will tour Bangladesh in April 2025 to play a two-match Test series.

The series will be Zimbabwe's first Test tour to Bangladesh in five years. The last Test between the two sides was in February 2020, with Bangladesh winning by an innings and 106 runs.

  • 1st Test: April 20 – Sylhet International Cricket Stadium
  • 2nd Test: April 28 – Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) opted to host the Tests outside Dhaka as the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium is currently hosting the Dhaka Premier League.

A BCB official stated that the wickets in Sylhet and Chattogram would be better suited for Test cricket as they have had more rest compared to the Dhaka wicket.
