Gujarat Giants Pull Off Thrilling Win Over Delhi Capitals

Harleen Deol led the charge with an unbeaten 70 off 49 balls as Gujarat Giants overhauled Delhi Capitals' 177 with three balls to spare at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. The win snapped Capitals' three-game winning streak and propelled the Giants to second place in the points table.

Deol's innings was marked by two reprieves, including a dropped catch at long-off when she was on 27 and a missed direct hit when she was on 34. The Giants' victory push was also aided by Ashleigh Gardner's 22 off 13 and Deandra Dottin's 10-ball 24.

Earlier, Delhi Capitals' Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma put on an 83-run opening partnership, with Lanning eventually falling for 92 off 35 balls. The Capitals' innings was marked by a slow scoring rate in the middle overs, but they still managed to post a competitive total.

Brief scores:

Delhi Capitals 177/5 in 20 overs (Meg Lanning 92, Shafali Verma 40)
Gujarat Giants 178/5 in 19.3 overs (Harleen Deol 70*, Deandra Dottin 24)
