Statistical highlights from a bat-dominated day at Eden Park where Pakistan pulled off a chase of 205 against New Zealand in the 3rd T20I:

  • Hasan Nawaz scored a hundred off 44 balls, the fastest ton by any Pakistan batter in T20Is. He surpassed Babar Azam, who took 49 balls for his century against South Africa in 2021.

  • Nawaz became the first player to score a hundred after registering ducks in his first two T20Is.

  • Pakistan chased down 205 runs against New Zealand in Auckland, their second-highest successful chase in T20Is behind 208 they chased against West Indies in Karachi in 2021.

  • This was also the second-highest successful run-chase at Eden Park after Australia who chased down 244 against New Zealand in 2018. This is the fourth time New Zealand failed to defend a 200-plus target in T20Is and three out of those four came at Eden Park, Auckland.

  • Pakistan scored 75 runs in the Powerplay, their highest in this phase. They scored 124 runs in their first ten overs – their highest ever in this phase. Pakistan's quickest team fifty and quickest team hundred also came in this match.

  • Nawaz took 3 innings for his first T20I hundred.

  • The 133-run partnership between Salman Agha and Nawaz is Pakistan's third-highest for the second wicket in T20I cricket. The run-rate of 13.08 for this partnership is Pakistan's highest in a 100-run stand in the T20I format.
