Shardul Thakur to Replace Injured Mohsin Khan at LSG

Shardul Thakur, the Mumbai pace-bowling all-rounder, has been roped in by Lucknow Super Giants as a replacement for Mohsin Khan for IPL 2025. Mohsin has been ruled out of this season due to injury.

IPL Experience and Statistics

Shardul has featured in 95 games in IPL, picking up 94 wickets. He has previously played for Punjab Kings, Rising Pune Super Giants, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders.

Upcoming Commitments

Thakur had earlier signed a deal with Essex to play seven County Championship games during the initial half of the 2025-26 season, all of which are set to be played in April and May 2025. As a result of his IPL commitments, he will now be unavailable for the County season.
