SRH and HCA Bury Hatchet, Settle Differences

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) have resolved their disputes over ticketing and complimentary passes during the ongoing IPL season.

  • The agreement was reached following a meeting convened by R Devraj, HCA secretary, after their conflict escalated to the Telangana Chief Minister.
  • SRH had accused HCA president Jagan Mohan Rao of blackmail and coercion over ticket distribution.

    • SRH proposed allocating 10% of stadium capacity across all sections as per the existing tri-party agreement with BCCI.
    • HCA agreed to maintain the existing allocation of passes, consistent with past practices.
    • 3900 complimentary passes will remain unchanged, and HCA assured full cooperation with SRH.

The two parties have committed to working together amicably to enhance the spectator experience at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
