Priyansh Arya's Sensational Ton Condemns CSK to Another Loss

Priyansh Arya's maiden IPL ton, coupled with a sloppy fielding display, condemned Chennai Super Kings to their fourth successive loss in IPL 2025. Arya's stunning 39-ball ton in just his fourth appearance, helped Punjab Kings breach the 200-run mark and ultimately secure an 18-run win.

The PowerPlay proved to be the turning point, with Arya making all the noise as he raced to a stunning half-century to power his team to 75 for 3. Despite losing three wickets, Arya's aggressive batting and a fruitful opening stand helped Punjab Kings finish the phase on top.

In the run chase, Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra put an end to CSK's opening woes with a fruitful partnership in the PowerPlay. However, things turned sour quickly as Rachin got stumped off Glenn Maxwell and Gaikwad failed to contribute, putting CSK under pressure. Shivam Dube and Conway's efforts kept CSK's faint hopes alive, but ultimately fell short as Punjab Kings secured a crucial win.

• Chennai Super Kings: 201/5 in 20 overs (Devon Conway 69, Shivam Dube 42; Lockie Ferguson 2/40)
