Corbin Bosch receives one-year PSL ban

Corbin Bosch, the South African pacer, has been banned for one year from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after leaving the tournament to join the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the decision, citing Bosch's withdrawal ahead of the 2025 season.

Bosch, 30, was selected by Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL draft but left to replace the injured Lizaad Williams in the IPL. In response, he apologized, stating:

"I deeply regret withdrawing from the PSL and apologize to Pakistan's cricket fans, Peshawar Zalmi supporters, and the cricket community. The PSL is a prestigious event, and I understand the disappointment caused. I accept the consequences, including the fine and ban, and hope to return to the PSL with renewed dedication."

This decision highlights the challenges players face when balancing multiple leagues.
