Bangladesh Skipper Najmul Hossain on Mental Preparation for Test Series

Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain believes his team mates won't find it hard to change formats as they step into the two-match Test series against Zimbabwe following the ongoing Dhaka Premier League.

Players Mentally Tuned for Test Series

Najmul stated that the players selected for the national team are already mentally tuning themselves to approach the Test series. He added that the players are handling both the DPL derby and the Test series well and preparing accordingly.

No Pressure Playing Against Lower-Ranked Zimbabwe

Najmul emphasized that there will always be pressure playing international cricket, whether against Zimbabwe or higher-ranked teams like South Africa or Australia. He believes that every match should be seen as an international match, and that's how Bangladesh's Test cricket will continue to grow.

Focus on Building Progress

Najmul highlighted that the mindset and pressure when facing top teams will be the same against Zimbabwe. He concluded that no team is small, and the players aren't thinking in those terms either.

Series Schedule

The series concluding second Test is scheduled at Chattogram from April 28.
