RCB Replace Injured Devdutt Padikkal with Mayank Agarwal

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have signed Mayank Agarawal as the replacement for Devdutt Padikkal, who has been ruled out of the remainder of IPL 2025 due to a hamstring injury.

Padikkal's Impact

Padikkal had a revelation season for RCB, batting at No.3 and hitting two half-centuries. He made 247 runs in 10 games at a strike rate of 150.61, his highest in an IPL campaign.

RCB's Statement

"We wish Devdutt a speedy recovery. At the same time, we're pleased to welcome Mayank Agarwal to RCB. His experience and versatility will prove valuable for us as we head into the business end of the season," said Mo Bobat, Director of Cricket, RCB.

Mayank Agarwal's Profile

Agarawal has rich IPL experience, having played 127 matches and registered one century and 13 fifties. He has been signed up for INR 1 Crore.
