PSL Postponement Amid India-Pakistan Border Tensions

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the postponement of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to escalating border tensions between India and Pakistan.

The decision came hours after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) suspended the Indian Premier League (IPL) for a week. The PCB had earlier planned to move the remainder of the PSL 2025 matches to Dubai, but the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) refused to host the remaining matches, citing disagreements over hosting fees.

The PCB's decision to postpone was taken pursuant to advice received from Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Sharif. The remaining eight PSL games have to be rescheduled.
