KSCA constitutes high-profile Cricket Advisory Committee
The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has formed a high-profile Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) under its newly elected managing committee. The committee is headlined by Anil Kumble and Javagal Srinath, and also includes Sunil Joshi, Vijay Bharadwaj, and Jayshree Doraiswamy.
This marks one of the first major administrative steps by the Venkatesh Prasad-led dispensation, which took charge after the KSCA elections earlier this month.
In its first meeting, the CAC recommended sweeping changes to Karnataka's selection panels for the ongoing season, which were approved by the managing committee.
Senior and Under-23 Men's Selection Panel:
- Amit Verma (Chairman)
- S. Prakash
- Tejpal Kothari
- Sunil Raju
Junior Men's Selection Panel (Under-19, Under-16, Under-14):
- G. K. Anil Kumar
- C. Raghavendra
- G. N. Umesh
- D. S. Ananth
Under-23 Coaching Staff Changes:
- Ganesh Satish and Deepak Chougule replace Somashekar Siruguppi and S. R. Deepu, respectively.
The Women's Selection Committee is currently under review, with decisions expected shortly.
Vinay Mruthyunjaya, former KSCA treasurer, has been appointed Official Spokesperson and Chairman of Public and Member Relations.
Election Results Recap:
Earlier this month, Venkatesh Prasad was elected KSCA president with 749 votes against KN Shanth Kumar's 558. The Prasad-led group nearly swept the elections:

- BN Madhukar: Treasurer
- BK Ravi (former umpire, from rival camp): Joint Secretary
