Raina, Hayden announced as first inductees in CSK's Hall of Fame
Suresh Raina and Matthew Hayden have been named as the inaugural inductees into the Chennai Super Kings' Hall of Fame. The announcement was made on Sunday (March 22) during a fan event at Chepauk, which featured a reunion of former CSK players.
Suresh Raina
- CSK's all-time leading run-scorer with 5,529 runs.
- Played for CSK from 2008 to 2021, winning four IPL titles with the franchise.
- Captained the team on occasions in MS Dhoni's absence.
- Instrumental in CSK's Champions League T20 victories in 2010 and 2014; named Player of the Tournament in 2014.
Matthew Hayden
- Part of the CSK squad for the first three IPL seasons.
- Won the Orange Cap for CSK in 2009.
- Played a key role in CSK's maiden IPL title win in 2010.
