Indian men's team to play 22 matches across 17 venues at home in 2026-27
The Indian men's team is set to play 22 international matches across 17 venues at home in the 2026-27 season, as announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The home season will include 5 Tests, 9 ODIs and 8 T20Is. Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and Ranchi are the only centres scheduled to host two matches each.
The season begins with West Indies' white-ball tour, comprising 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is, starting September 27 in Thiruvananthapuram and concluding October 17. The ODIs will be played in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati and New Chandigarh, while the T20Is will be hosted in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
This will be followed by a series against Sri Lanka from December 13 to 27, featuring 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is. The ODIs will be in Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, with Rajkot, Cuttack and Pune hosting the T20Is.
In January 2027, Zimbabwe will tour for a three-match ODI series, with matches in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
India's home Test season consists solely of a five-match series against Australia, running from January 21 to March 7. The Tests are scheduled for Nagpur, Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi and Ahmedabad.
