Jayden Lennox claims maiden five-fer to help New Zealand level series

Jayden Lennox claimed his maiden five-wicket haul, laying the foundation for New Zealand's five-wicket win over West Indies in the second ODI in Guyana, helping the visitors level the three-match series. Lennox's superb figures of 5 for 19, coupled with two wickets apiece from Mitchell Santner and Michael Bracewell, saw New Zealand's spinners account for nine wickets as West Indies were bundled out for 138. Asked to bat, West Indies got off to a good start thanks to John Campbell (43) and Ackeem Auguste (18), who put on a 63-run opening stand. Henry Nicholls hit two fours before top-edging a sweep to give Motie a wicket.

New Zealand were 52 for 3 with Latham and Daryl Mitchell at the crease, and the fourth-wicket pair steadied the innings with a 42-run partnership. The partnership ended when Mitchell was out stumped off Khary Pierre, who also bowled Dean Foxcroft for a duck. Latham and Bracewell then ensured no further hiccups, adding 45 for the sixth wicket to take New Zealand over the line in the 33rd over.
