India A Tour of Australia: First Match
by Cricbuzz Staff • October 31, 2024
In a wobbly start to the tour of Australia, India A's batting fell apart as they managed a paltry 107 runs in favorable conditions at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay. Fast bowler Brendan Doggett wreaked havoc picking six wickets, with seven batters scoring in single digits.
Top Scorers (India A):
- Devdutt Padikkal – 36
- Navdeep Saini – 23
Bowling Summary (Australia):
- Brendan Doggett – 6 wickets, 15 runs
Meanwhile, Australia A's batting too showed early signs of trouble as top contenders Marcus Harris and Cameron Bancroft fell cheaply in the senior-side Test series opener.
