Tanzim Sakib Cleared for Competitive Cricket

Bangladesh has been granted a major relief as pace-bowling all-rounder Tanzim Sakib has passed a fitness test and cleared for competitive cricket.

Background

Tanzim Sakib, a right-arm pacer, has been an integral part of Bangladesh's white-ball setup. Recently, he missed the ODI series against Afghanistan due to injury, specifically experiencing neck stiffness during warm-ups.

Return to Action

The national selection panel confirmed Tanzim's clearance from the BCB medical team on Monday. This development has paved the way for Tanzim to participate in the inaugural Global Super League in Guyana, starting November 27.

Upcoming Schedule

After two Tests against West Indies, Bangladesh will play three ODIs and three T20Is against the hosts. Tanzim is set to feature in the Global Super League with the Guyana Amazon Warriors, alongside other prominent teams.
