Dubai Capitals Win Maiden Title with Four-Wicket Victory

The Dubai Capitals have become the third team to lift the ILT20 title, defeating the Desert Vipers by four wickets in a thrilling final. Rovman Powell's 38-ball 63 and Sikandar Raza's 12-ball 34 not out were instrumental in the Capitals' victory.

Desert Vipers' Strong Total

The Vipers, batting first, posted a competitive 189/5 in 20 overs. Max Holden top-scored with 76 off 51 balls, while Sam Curran remained unbeaten on 62 off 33 balls.

Capitals' Challenging Chase

The Capitals, in response, slipped to 31/3 before Shai Hope (43 off 39) and Powell put on an important 80-run stand. Powell also added 41 with Dasun Shanaka, but quick wickets tilted the game in the Vipers' favour. Raza, however, blew it away from them in the last two overs, securing a four-wicket win for the Capitals.
