All-round Delhi Capitals secure second win on the bounce

Delhi Capitals Secure Second Win on the Bounce

Delhi Capitals' all-round performance secured their second consecutive win in the Indian Premier League 2025, defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets.

SRH's Top-Order Fails to Fire

Sunrisers Hyderabad's top-order was dismantled by Mitchell Starc, who picked his maiden T20 fifer. The team was hamstrung in the PowerPlay, losing four wickets and scoring only 58 runs.

Aniket Verma's Six-Hitting Exhibition

Aniket Verma's 41-ball 74 was the highlight of SRH's innings, but it wasn't enough to take the team to a competitive total. He hit sixes against DC's spinners, but the team's middle-order failed to capitalize on his innings.

DC's Chasing Effort

Delhi Capitals' top-order chased down the target with ease, with Faf du Plessis scoring a 26-ball half-century. Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abishek Porel also contributed significantly, taking the team to a comfortable victory.
