Virat Kohli Retires from Test Cricket

Virat Kohli, the legendary India batter, has announced his retirement from Test cricket with immediate effect. He finishes his Test career with 9230 runs in 123 matches at an average of 46.85, including 30 centuries.

Kohli also steps down as India's most successful Test captain, leading the team with passion and dedication during a period of significant change in the sport.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kohli reflected on his 14-year journey in Test cricket, saying it has tested him, shaped him, and taught him valuable lessons. He expressed gratitude for the game, his teammates, and everyone who supported him along the way.

Kohli's decision to retire from Test cricket comes as Indian cricket undergoes a transition, with other notable players like Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin also retiring recently.
