RCB Seals Qualifier 1 Berth with Thrilling Win Over LSG

RCB's Jitesh Sharma stole the show with an unbeaten 85 off 33, helping his team seal a six-wicket win over LSG and secure a Qualifier 1 berth for the first time since 2016.

Pant's Blistering Ton Falls Short

LSG's Rishabh Pant struck an unbeaten 118 off 61, but his knock was overshadowed by Jitesh's incredible performance. Pant's 152-run second wicket stand with Mitchell Marsh set the platform for LSG's daunting total of 227 for 3.

RCB's Century Stand Powers Them to Victory

RCB had a century partnership of their own as Jitesh was supported by Mayank Agarwal in an unbroken 107-run partnership for the fifth wicket that sealed the deal with 1.2 overs to spare. Virat Kohli also made an important contribution (54 off 30) to keep RCB going in the first half of the chase.

Jitesh's Special Performance

Jitesh took the game head-on with his excellent hitting and also had luck going his way as he drove RCB towards the target. Mayank was a happy spectator at the non-striker's end, contributing 20 in the century stand as Jitesh single-handedly powered RCB into the first Qualifier.

Lucknow Super Giants 227/3 in 20 overs (Rishabh Pant 118*, Mitchell Marsh 67; Nuwan Thushara 1-26) lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru 230/4 in 18.4 overs (Jitesh Sharma 85*, Virat Kohli 54; William O'Rourke 2-74) by 6 wickets.
