  • Bengaluru Police arrested Nikhil Sosale (RCB Head of Marketing and Revenue), Kiran Kumar (DNA Senior Event Manager), and Sunil Mathew (DNA Vice President – Business Affairs).
  • The arrests follow the death of 11 people in a stampede outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium during RCB's IPL victory celebrations on June 2.
  • Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah ordered the arrests and the immediate suspension of several top police officials, including Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda.
  • A one-man judicial commission, headed by retired high court judge Justice Michael D'Cunha, will investigate the tragedy.
  • The commission has 30 days to submit its report.
