Bangladesh's pace trio of Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, and Mustafizur Rahman are set to return from injuries for the upcoming Sri Lanka white-ball tour. The trio has been out of competitive cricket due to their respective injuries.

Injury Updates

• Mustafizur Rahman suffered a thumb injury during IPL 2025 and was ruled out of the T20I series in Pakistan.
• Taskin Ahmed was suffering from an ankle injury.
• Shoriful Islam was ruled out of the third and final T20I against Pakistan due to a muscle injury.

Return to Action

The trio has been bowling at full pace in intra-squad matches at Chattogram. However, they still need to get clearance from the BCB medical department before joining the white-ball series against Sri Lanka.
