BCCI is awaiting government clearance to tour Bangladesh for a white-ball series.
The series, consisting of three ODIs and three T20Is, was scheduled to take place in August but is now uncertain due to the political situation.
BCB president Aminul Islam expressed hope that the series will happen at a later date.
BCB has appointed former ICC umpire Simon Taufel to lead umpire education in Bangladesh for three years.
BCB plans to include a woman selector in the national women's team selection panel.
The men's selection panel will also be expanded to include another selector.
BCB is planning to host the next edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) in December-January.
An event management company will be involved in the organization of the BPL.
Franchises are expected to sign five-year agreements with the board for the next cycle.
