Bangladesh Head Coach Phil Simmons Leaves Sri Lanka for Medical Reasons

Phil Simmons, the head coach of the Bangladesh cricket team, has left Sri Lanka to meet physicians in London for a scheduled appointment. The appointment was initially set for February but had to be rescheduled due to the Champions Trophy.

Return Date

Simmons is expected to return to Sri Lanka on July 7, in time for the third ODI of the series.
