Owen's Dream Debut Sets Up Winning Start for Australia

Australia made a winning start to the T20I series, beating West Indies by three wickets in the opener in Jamaica. Debutant Mitchell Owen (50 off 27) and Cameron Green (51 off 26) led the charge, despite Australia losing seven wickets.

First Innings

West Indies posted 189/8, thanks to Roston Chase's 60 and Shai Hope's 55. Ben Dwarshuis took 4-36 to restrict the hosts.

Second Innings

Australia chased down the target in the 19th over, with Owen and Green putting on a match-turning stand of 80 from 40 deliveries. Despite losing wickets, Australia made short work of the target, with Sean Abbott and Dwarshuis seeing the chase through.
