Hyderabad Cricket Association Suspends Top Officials

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has suspended its top three office-bearers, including president A Jagan Mohan Rao, secretary R Devraj, and treasurer CJ Srinivas Rao. The Apex Council took the decision at an emergent meeting, citing "serious charges involving fraud, cheating, misappropriation of funds, and abuse of official position".

The three officials are currently in police custody, with investigating agencies like CID and ED probing the allegations. In their absence, vice-president Daljeet Singh is serving as acting president.

The HCA has reiterated its commitment to upholding "the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability", and ensuring that due process is followed in a fair and impartial manner.
