Mo Bobat Appointed Director of Cricket at London Spirit

Mo Bobat has been appointed Director of Cricket at London Spirit, taking up the role from October 1, 2025. He becomes the first major appointment as the franchise prepares for the 2026 season.

New Ownership Era

London Spirit enters a new ownership era with MCC holding a 51% stake and US-based tech investment group Tech Titans owning the remaining 49%. This change comes as the ECB confirms all eight Hundred teams will transition to private ownership.

Retaining the London Spirit Name

Despite the new ownership, London Spirit will retain its name under the new structure, with a rebrand planned for early 2026.
