  • Ankit Sharma, a left-arm spinner from Madhya Pradesh, has obtained an NOC from the Cricket Association of Puducherry (CAP).
  • The 34-year-old allrounder, with 68 first-class games under his belt, resigned from his job at Siechem Technologies.
  • Reports suggest he will represent Kerala in the upcoming domestic season.
  • A Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) official confirmed they interviewed Ankit but a final decision hasn't been made.
  • Ankit has played 17 first-class games for Puducherry, taking 49 wickets.
  • He has also played 13 List A games (12 wickets) and 13 T20 matches (11 wickets) for Puducherry.
  • CAP officials stated Sidak Singh, another left-handed allrounder, will replace Ankit in the Puducherry team.
  • Diddhant Adhatrao, Puneet Datey, and Jayant Yadav have been named as Puducherry's professional players for the season.
