SMAT: Padikkal's 45-ball ton wrecks TN

Devdutt Padikkal smashed 102 off 46 balls (10 fours, six sixes) to power Karnataka to 245/3 against Tamil Nadu in Ahmedabad. Supported by B R Sharath (53) and Smaran Ravichandran (46*), Karnataka then bowled Tamil Nadu out for 100, securing a 145-run victory. Shreyas Gopal and Pravin Dubey took three wickets each.

In Hardik Pandya's comeback match, Punjab posted 222/8, fueled by Abhishek Sharma's 50 off 19 and Anmolpreet Singh's 69 off 32. Baroda chased it down with seven wickets and five balls to spare, led by Hardik Pandya's unbeaten 77 off 42 and Shivalik Sharma's 47.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored his maiden SMAT century (108* off 61 balls) for Bihar, setting 176/3. However, Maharashtra chased the target with three wickets and five balls remaining, guided by Prithvi Shaw's 66 off 30.

Goa chased 171 to stun Madhya Pradesh, thanks to Suyash Prabhudessai's 75* off 50 and Abhinav Tejrana's 55. For MP, Harpreet Singh Bhatia made 80* off 52. Arjun Tendulkar took 3/36 for Goa.

Odisha defended 135/8 against Chattissgarh, winning by 27 runs. Biplab Samantaray top-scored with 61, while Rajesh Mohanty's 5/21 restricted Chattissgarh to 108.

Gujarat bowled Puducherry out for 83 in Hyderabad, with Ravi Bishnoi (3/13) and Japagnya Bhatt (3/17) leading the attack. Aarya Desai then hit 53* off 30 to seal the win in 9 overs.

Delhi fell short chasing 158 against Tripura. Nitish Rana's 45 was the lone notable contribution as Delhi struggled. Tripura had posted 157/5, with four batters scoring in the 20s.
