Women's T20 World Cup 2026: Debutant Netherlands grouped with India, Australia

The ICC and ECB have revealed the complete schedule for the Women's T20 World Cup 2026. The tournament will run from June 12 to July 5.

Netherlands secured their maiden T20 World Cup qualification with three wins in three during the Super Six stage of the Global Qualifiers. Scotland and Ireland also qualified, joining Bangladesh to complete the 12-team lineup.

Group 1: Australia, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Netherlands
Group 2: West Indies, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland

The opening fixture will be between England and Sri Lanka at Edgbaston. A high-profile India-Pakistan match is scheduled for June 14. Both teams are in Group 1, which also includes six-time champions Australia and debutants Netherlands. On the same day (June 14), Netherlands will play their first-ever T20 World Cup match against Bangladesh, also at Edgbaston.

Defending champions New Zealand are in Group 2, alongside 2009 winners England and 2016 champions West Indies.

A total of 33 matches will be played across seven venues: Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Headingley, Hampshire Bowl, Bristol County Ground, Edgbaston, and The Oval. The final will be held at Lord's.
