Rohit Sharma, the Mumbai Indians opener, is set to miss Saturday's Indian Premier League game against Punjab Kings.

The official reason for his absence and the extent of his hamstring injury, sustained during Mumbai Indians' previous game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, will be revealed by the MI management during the pre-match media conference on Wednesday evening.
