Amber Kainat earns call-up for Zimbabwe T20Is
Pakistan have called up uncapped fast-bowler Amber Kainat for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe in Karachi. Kainat is one of two uncapped players in Fatima Sana’s 15-member squad, alongside Saira Jabeen.
Amber’s selection follows an impressive showing for the Invincibles in the National Women’s T20 Tournament, where she took 11 wickets in eight matches.
The squad is largely the same as the one that toured South Africa, though Sidra Amin has been dropped and is among five reserves, along with pacer Diana Baig. Off-spinner Rameen Shamim returns after injury ruled her out of the South Africa tour. Umm-e-Hani and Humna Bilal have been left out.
The first T20I is on May 12, with the remaining matches on May 14 and 15 at the National Stadium Karachi.
