Quinton de Kock, Raj Angad Bawa ruled out of IPL 2026

Quinton de Kock and Raj Angad Bawa have been ruled out of IPL 2026 due to injuries. Mumbai Indians will be without the duo for their remaining two matches, having already been eliminated from the Playoffs race.

De Kock suffered a tendon injury in his left wrist ahead of MI's match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Bawa sustained a ligament tear to his right thumb during MI's previous fixture against Punjab Kings. Both players are recuperating at home.

A statement from Mumbai Indians said they will announce replacements as per IPL guidelines. De Kock last played for MI on April 23, scoring 132 runs in three innings, including a 112* against Punjab Kings. Bawa, the 23-year-old former U19 India all-rounder, played three games this season.

MI are currently ninth on the points table with four wins in 12 matches. They have two matches remaining: against KKR on May 20 in Kolkata and Rajasthan Royals on May 24 in Mumbai.
