Auqib Nabi among six called up as net bowlers for Afghanistan Test

Auqib Nabi, who missed selection for the Afghanistan Test, is one of six bowlers who have joined the Indian squad as net bowlers ahead of the fixture from June 6 in Mullanpur.

Besides Nabi, two other quicks in this list are Prince Yadav and Tamil Nadu's Gurjapneet Singh. Prince, who has made a name in the IPL circuit, is also part of India's ODI squad following this one-off Test.

Among the spin options, off-spinner Saransh Jain brings experience with 181 wickets in 52 first-class matches for Madhya Pradesh. His MP teammate Shivang Kumar, yet to make his red-ball debut, offers left-arm wrist spin, while UP's Zeeshan Ansari provides leg-break. Both have the wrong'un in their arsenal.
